Appeal for life protection of SR Darapuri and restoration of democratic rights
Why this petition matters

To,
Chief Minister,
Uttar Pradesh,
India.
Sir,
Yesterday, posters of the accused including SR Darapuri, who were accused of violence in Lucknow on December 19, 2019 in Lucknow city, have been put up by the district administration and Lucknow police, which is totally illegal and mischievous. As far as I know, the district administration has no power to put up such posters.
This action of the district administration has posed a great threat to the life and property of these people and violates the right to privacy. After posting of the posters, different reactions of different people about these people have also started coming.
Hence if any untoward incident happens to SR Darapuri and other accused as a result of the above action of the district administration, then the district administration and the government will be fully responsible for it. Therefore, you are requested to make proper arrangements for the protection of SR Darapuri and remove the said posters immediately and take action against the guilty officers for this illegal action.
It is also to be brought to your notice that the government/administration is continuously taking harassment action against Darapuri in a spirit of political vendetta because being the National Spokesperson of All India People's Front, he has been addressing the questions of Dalits/Adivasis and other disadvantaged groups in a legal manner.
Being a follower of Dr. Ambedkar, Darapuri follows his principles and has never endorsed any chaotic, violent and illegal activity. Despite this, he was falsely implicated and sent to jail in the incident of December 19 in which he was not even involved as he was put under house arrest by the police on that day.
It is also noteworthy that you declare in the Legislative Assembly that your government respects the right of dissent and anyone can hold a meeting or conference in the state with permission. But on the other hand, the conference organized on the democratic and constitutional rights on 29 February in the historical Ganga Prasad Memorial Hall of Aminabad was not allowed, saying that "it is about to be addressed by SR Darapuri who has a case against him." It would also be proper to say that Inspector Aminabad Police Station had recommended allowing this program. It is clear that this entire action is a violation of the right to democratic rights and dissent, which should be stopped.
Therefore, you are requested to establish a democratic culture in Uttar Pradesh and allow common citizens to carry out democratic activities.
