Ayesha A. Malik (LHC Judge) had ruled that the nomination forms (of candidates intending to contest in General Elections, 2018) did not include mandatory information and declarations required from lawmakers as per the Constitution, and ordered the ECP to ensure this information is included in the revised Form for elections to the NA or Senate ─ and Form B ─ a statement of assets and liabilities. the move is considered to be a step towards quality of electoral process in upcoming elections.

Ironically, Supreme Court of Pakistan on Sunday suspended the LHC's ruling and by that I mean, ordering to remove all the mandatory questions asking details of the MP candidates.

God forbid, if this happened, we'll be unable to know who they are, how much they possess before elections to compare it after they complete their tenure. How are we going to measure whether or not they have committed corruption?
