Support our petition to create an autism-friendly shopping experience for local families

Children with Autism deserve the right to equal opportunities in all community based activities, including shopping centres. Currently, for many children with Autism they are restricted from participating due to environmental factors they are unable to control.
This includes the overload of sensory stimuli present in shopping centres such as bright lights, loud music and clashing of trolleys.
We aim to reduce the barriers for these children by creating a sensory-friendly shopping experience. We propose a designated time each week where children and their families can complete their shopping in a quiet and calm environment.
To do this, we require your support through our online petition to demonstrate to the local grocery companies this is an initiative worth implementing in your local community.
