Every year, more than 8 billion chickens are killed by slaughter just for food, in the U.S. alone. This is definitely illegal, right? Wrong. There are no U.S. laws prohibiting what is being done, and major food corporations are taking advantage of this. We need to put an end to it. If you just took a glimpse of what is being done to these innocent baby chickens, you would probably either stop eating chicken or just become a vegetarian. There is a 12-minute documentary on YouTube about this. Chickens are only given about 45 days to live, they are bred to be very top-heavy, and since they are only babies, a lot of the chicken become crippled. They never get to go outside or even get fresh air. In fact, the air at the farm is polluted with ammonia because thousands of chicken are put in there at the same time, and they are forced to die after less than two months out of a natural lifespan of 10-15 years. They never get to experience what being a chicken is all about, all they do is suffer and get killed. A lot of people don't realize that when they have chicken, steak, hamburger, etc. on their dinner plate, the food that they are about to eat comes from an animal, an animal that was living, alive and well, but had to be killed in such a barbaric manner. All that just for another meal for a lucky human. What's worse is that the U.S. has done absolutely nothing to protect animal cruelty and slaughter, and they should definitely do something. So please, help out with this important cause. Do the world, and the animals, a huge favor! Put an end to animal cruelty!
LET THE ANIMALS LIVE!!! THEY ARE INTELLIGENT AND THEY DESERVE TO GET EQUAL RIGHTS!!!
