Part of what makes this neighborhood nice are the people working in the shops and restaurants. With a lack of affordable housing though, it's hard for them to live here.

I want a walkable dense city. Move to the suburbs if you want to park your car.

Lincoln Square needs more affordable housing, and it's a shame that anyone is trying to "save a parking lot" to prevent it.

I drive to Lincoln Square when I visit. I’ll happily park a block farther away because people>parking. Affordable housing is what will save our city.

Lincoln Square needs more neighbors, not more parking spaces.

I oppose rapacious use/squandering of public resources for private profit. Zero confidence in Martin 's integrity. His inability to even consider what this "development" will do to alter the face if the neighborhood is very telling. Martin's overall performance as an alderman - failing grade.

Note: Per the local chamber, no public parking is being lost. The developer's proposal includes a public parking garage. http://www.lincolnsquare.org/news/details/4715-n-western-parking-lot-chamber-statement
