"One More Shift" For Bryan Bickell

We would like to get "One More Shift' for Bryan Bickell in a Chicago Blackhawks uniform.

Bryan Bickell was one of the most loved Blackhawks players through parts of 9 seasons with the organization. He started to have health problems during the 2015 Stanley Cup run and it was believed to be vertigo. After spending much of 2015-2016 with the Rockford IceHogs, he was traded to the Carolina Hurricanes in the 2016 off-season for contract reasons.

He started to have health problems again early in Carolina. On November 11, 2016 he was diagnosed with MS (multiple sclerosis) and was placed on the IR the following day. Bickell made a triumphant return to the Hurricanes lineup on April 4, 2017 but quickly made an announcement that he would be retiring at the end of the season.

Bickell is still loved in Chicago and everyone has been rooting for him since his diagnosis. A man with a huge heart. He and wife, Amanda, have a foundation to create awareness for pit bulls and working with them to assist formerly abused children. He now spends much of his time speaking and making appearances to create awareness for MS as well.

Bryan Bickell was a member of three Stanley Cup winning Blackhawks teams and never received a proper send off with the organization.

He is #BickellBrave and deserves "One More Shift."
