To whom it may concern, 

As a citizen of the Chesterville community, a mom of two fur-babies and a regular doggy-playdate organizer, I am constantly on the lookout for areas that allow my dogs to roam freely, socialize and play. Unfortunately, the Chesterville community doesn't offer off-leash areas for that purpose. The closest dog park is situated in the township of Russell and is almost 30 minutes away. 

After speaking with many dog-owners in the community, I noticed that there seems to be a growing interest to have a dog park closer to home. This would allow our dogs to socialize in an area that is safe for them and in which they are legally allowed to roam off-leash.

The reason I created this Change.org page is to seek out who would be interested in having a dog park in our community. If the signatures support my idea of a dog park in the Chesterville/Winchester area, I will be sending a proposal to our township along with the signatures accumulated. This could be the first step of an amazing project!
