I am at student at chesterfield college and I can see how hard our tutors work and spend so much time in and out of college they make our course so enjoyable and it wouldn't have been the same without them. They deserve to keep there jobs they have work so hard to get where they are!

Management should be ashamed of themselves. Presumably claiming brownie points for themselves by making STAFF carry the burden of "Doing more" (excessive workloads and staff livelihoods trashed) for less (significant and compounding real cuts in pay). We can always afford to bail out imprudent bankers by squeezing the workers yet again, can't we?

Supporting former colleagues and friends who have had pay and conditions eroded over last 20yrs, used to be on a par with teachers but lagging way behind now.

I'm only signing this to leave my disgrace at the strike action on tuesday. Many students like myself have exams and had to rearrange said exam for another time, making my grades suffer. I will no doubt not get into university because of this strike. Now my whole future has been effected just because of this strike of one day. So I therefore won't be supporting your campaign after feeling greatly let down by my so called 'caring' and 'supportive' lecturers obviously just in this for the money. Thanks but no thanks!
