The chester county school system has been sending students home because the students refuse to take there nose piercing out. students who are expressing themselves through nose piercings should be allowed to keep there piercing. The schools have called them “distracting” although if you ask any student they would disagree with them and say they aren’t distracting in anyway. nose piercing are a safe fun way to express yourself. we already can’t express ourselves through clothing so we should at least have the choice wether or not we get piercings and express ourselves that way. many people believe that facial piercing make you unable to get a good job but with times changing facial piercing are being more accepted at most work places. as minors our parents have the over all say so, if a parent believes it’s okay for there child to have a nose piercing then they should be allowed to wear them in the school.
