To students, and teachers, 

At Chenery Middle School, there's many rules about phones. Phones, as you know are a big source of communication. This school as decided to allow these students to NOT use them during lunch, or anytime during the day. 

You might think this is ok, and kids can deal with parting with the cellular device for 5-6 hours. You may be mistaken, many children have dealt with depression, social anxiety, and suicidal thoughts or have committed due to stress school has on children.  

If you sign this petition it gets awareness, and a voice in this matter. Once we get enough signatures, this will be brought to the higher ups. If you wish to contradict me, please send me an email providing reasons and evidence to back up your claim. 

If you have a story, on what has happened whether it's mental health related, or over all stressed please if able comment below so everyone can get a chance to speak on their behalf.
