Chelmsford High School Administration  announced today that they are considering a virtual commencement but are also still researching a traditional graduation. They will have a decision on May 18th.  The same date that Governor Baker will relate if there will be any opening up of the current restrictions.

The students put in the time, the effort, the dedication and I am sure the majority would prefer an in person. 

While we recognize that returning to campus for a postponed graduation may be inaccessible to some students, we feel the students  should have a choice between a virtual or postponed ceremony. We urge the the administration to consider alternatives and even if a virtual is decided to continue to work on a traditional as well. If you feel similarly, sign this petition requesting that the Chelmsford School Administration work to find a way to celebrate graduation in person and not make a final decision on the 18th.
