Last year in March 2020, as covid wave had hit India, Schools and Colleges across the nation were closed. This had prevented the spread of virus amongst Children, grandparents, teachers and many more categories of people.

In 2021, Schools in Delhi were opened once again, this had resulted in the one of the most brutal wave of Covid-19 seen by the people. There were lack of medical equipments, beds, Oxygen concentrators, Oxygen cylinders and much more.

Many schools in Country were turned into Covid isolation wards for children, as in the school itself many students had tested positive and the others couldn't go their homes due to the risk of spreading virus. Imagine this in your head you are at your home while your child is at the school being isolated. You can't do anything you're helpless. 

Not learning from the lesson taught last year the Government of Delhi has decided to open Schools once again. There is a wonderful quote for this :

"A Mistake that keeps being repeated is not a mistake, Its a choice"

Last year the government of Delhi had seen the outcome of opening schools, yet they are repeating the same mistakes again and again. 

I understand education is important, being a student myself I know how important education is, But what is education is we the children would not be here to do anything from it? Not even only the students the workers, teachers, parents, siblings, grandparents and many more classes of people are going to be in the risk of getting the deadly virus. 

That is why I wanted to start this petition to bring the attention of authorities , parents and students towards this ongoing issue or rather "MISTAKE" the Government of Delhi keeps making continuously.

And no, I am not forcing you to sign this. You can oppose me. This is just my point of view, and if you agree with my opinion, please sign and be a part of it.
