On behalf of the student body at Chatsworth Charter High School, we would like to make a formal complaint about the aggressiveness of the staff and administration of this school, and the unnecessary and abrasive policies that let staff believe they can treat students like animals. We are being belittled and tormented for simple things, such as bringing in drinks from outside. We are forced to throw away food and beverages we have payed for ourselves as we walk into school to try and have a good day. The staff attacks students everyday in an aggressive manner, screaming and barking at us. Some even go as far as to physically touch and push us back from entering school. We understand you are all concerned for our safety, but all we ask for is respect. MUTUAL RESPECT is our goal with this petition. We hope that administration can address our concerns to let the students at this school feel comfortable coming everyday, and remind us that our input can make a difference. Thank you.
