To our Community:
Please sign this petition to invite the Chatham Township Council to issue a statement proclaiming that our town is welcoming and accepting of all people regardless of race, color, religion, creed, sexuality, national origin, gender, disability, marital or veteran status or any other legally protected status. Chatham Township rejects hate and intolerance of any kind.
Chatham Township residents put an emphasis on the education and well being of the children of this town and how much the town does for them to have the brightest futures. Our schools consistently rank highest on state and national levels, which contribute directly to maintaining our home values.
Children follow by example and we urge the Chatham Township Council to speak up and out and support our community. They need to make sure that it is recognized on local, state, national and international levels that Chatham Township rejects intolerance. The Chatham Township Council needs to let it be known that the Chatham Township is a Welcoming Town, where all are able to live, work, play and learn from one another in a safe community free from fear and bullying.
