With winter in full force, the days are very short  and before you know it we have got home from work/school and its almost pitch black outside. This means that us fellow skaters from the Loughborough area have no safe space where we can skateboard, unless we travel to Leicester or Nottingham. This isn't always possible or practical for skaters around Loughborough and can often leave a hole in our pockets. All us locals believe that it would be a great idea for Southfields Skatepark to introduce flood lights.This wouldn't only help disperse anti social behaviour on the skatepark, but would also give us a safe place to skate and hang with friends during these short days. Whilst also saving us the time and money travelling to Leicester or Nottingham. We hope the Charnwood Borough Council can consider offering us flood lights, we would all really appreciate it. Thank You.
