I feel this is lit the location for such a building. The. City of needs to protect the beauty of what is loved and people come here to see not allowthat beauty to be destroyed.

Jeanne Ings Robertson. Although living in Nova Scotia I consider myself an Islander. I don’t want to see the Charlottetown Waterfront destroyed like the Halifax Waterfront. This is just greed and politics.

OUR Waterfront and its' views belong to ALL the citizens... Not to only the privileged few. Shame on you!

This building is not appropriate for the chosen location, and it appears that the necessary work has not been done to ensure it meets building requirements in Charlottetown.

There are some serious questions in the approval of this building permit. The rubber stamp should be re-considered in projects with such a potential impact on our city waterfront.

I love Charlottetown's heritage waterfront. I don't like ruining such a prize.

My direct ancestor, Cptn Samuel Holland, is rolling in his grave at the thought of blocking the harbour view to all. I can't imagine how this permit was ever allowed in the first place.

We are not doing enough to maintain the integrity of our heritage neighborhoods! By all means.. build an 8 story apartment building! But not at the waterfront in a heritage neighborhood!!!
