Im sending this petition to ask the government to prioritize remote learning rather than reopening school buildings in the coming weeks.How can we send our children back into classrooms that may be breeding grounds for the virus? How can we risk the lives of children and school staff who are at increased risk?.They could always makeup a school years but if they die,there lives could never be made up.With precious lives at stake, district leaders must be able to ensure the safety of each and every person who walks into a school. Teachers and staff should not be asked to risk their lives while schools struggle to implement new safety protocols while trying to teach. Children should not be treated like guinea pigs while educators figure out how to keep them and their families safe.
