C.A.T.A. Compost accessible to all
In Boston they have garbage and recycling services but not compost. I am here to change that. If you throw away your food scraps it’s just going to waste. But if you compost it helps to grow new plants and stop climate change.
That is why I propose to the city of Boston : C.A.T.A. Compost Accessible To All. The people of Boston are putting food down their garbage disposal every day, which is even worse than throwing it in the trash. They have a service that takes away all the trash and puts it in a landfill. And there are trucks that take the recyclable items to recycling centers. They may have a yard waste service but what are we supposed to do with the food scraps? You can not recycle any paper or cardboard with grease or food on it … but you can compost it! And if you do not want to or do not have the space for a garden, they will take it away and make compost for other people to buy. Maybe they could even partner up with Black Earth Compost. Also, pizza boxes are not recyclable because of the cheese and grease. Used napkins can also be composted.
In the end, I hope this convinced you to sign this petition. Thank you so much for reading this whole thing. I hope you have a great day. Thank you for supporting my cause.
