Chaparral HS: Get Our Graduation Rows Back

0 have signed. Let’s get to 500!

For at least the past 15 years Chaparral High School has had the unique tradition for Senior Class graduation: teachers get to choose the students that sit in their rows during the ceremony. Because of this, students have been able to sit next to their close friends that they’ve grown up with and have been able to be congratulated and seen off by teachers they’ve grown close to.

For the first time in more than a decade CHS administration has announced that the 2018 graduating class will NOT be sitting in rows chosen by their teachers and sitting next to their friends they’ve spent the past 4 years with. Instead, it is being said that the graduating class of 2018 is to sit in alphabetical order during the long, memorable hours of the ceremony in random teachers rows.

This petition is to be signed by parents and students of Chaparral High School to keep this unique tradition of CHS: be able to sit in our teachers chosen rows next to our close friends!

Goal: 500
