Structural Sexism is rampant in Sports Media.

Just one recent example:
Sport on TV News had 6 stories.
Stories 1-5 all on male sport including a bunch of meaningless male NRL stories on players and games. One on AFL. One on a couple of low ranking male tennis players losing on clay as expected.

Then squeezed into the last 30 seconds as a box ticking after-thought comes Ash Barty winning through to the final of Madrid and going for her 3rd straight tournament win. This is our World No 1 mind you.
Nothing at all on Super Netball, the biggest by far female sport.

A clear demonstration of structural sexism in media.

One of many!

This flows into Women's Sport being able to attract and maintain sponsorship and TV/Radio coverage.

It directly impacts the ability of women to earn a fair and equitable income out of their profession.

Father's, Grandfather's, brothers and all males should help to drive this change and pressure media companies for greater fairness and representation of female sport.

Let's start pressuring for change! Men, it's our role to support and advocate for this change.

It's not ok.
