#ChangingPlaces facility at All Premier League and Championship Football Clubs

United Discriminate started this petition to Premier League and

Presently only 5 Premier League Clubs (Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester City, Westham and Manchester United)  provide a Changing Places Facility.

Without these facilities children and adults with incontinence and mobility needs, simply cannot attend matches, as they are faced with the indignity, unsanitary and inhumane reality of having to have nappies changed on a dirty toilet floors on a matchday, or having to sit in their own waste for long periods of time.

Would you lie on the floor of a toilet at a football match? The Introduction of Changing Places would make it possible for many thousands of Disabled Football fans and there families attend games.

What is a Changing Places Facility?

A Changing Place is a special toilet facility that includes a height-adjustable changing bed and ceiling tracking hoist, as well as additional space and a peninsular toilet with space for carers either side.  Thousands of people need Changing Places toilets to enable them to get out and about and enjoy the day-to-day activities many of us take for granted.

Why should they be installed at all Premier League Grounds and Championship Grounds?

The Premier League is the Richest League in the world.  Every club in the Premier Leage made a pledge that they would comply with the Accessible Stadia Guide by the Start of the 2018 Season.   The Sports Grounds Safety Authority, Accessible Stadia supplementary Guidance states:  'Installing a Changing Places toilet may enable a disabled person to attend an event who might otherwise be unable to without their assistant having to resort to using the toilet floor for changing purposes....Such facilities are not designed for independent wheelchair users, and should not replace existing accessible toilets, but enable disabled people with complex needs to attend and enjoy events. As such, clubs should, wherever possible, consider installing a Changing Places at their stadium.' Championship sides should also ensure that these facilities are in place, to stand them in good stead ready for promotion.

Many clubs will state that they are unable to inprove disabled facilities due to the age of the ground.  This argument no longer sticks as Both Old Trafford and Anfield are both well over 100 years old in age now, and have adapted the venue to cater for Changing Places needs.

The #Hold-It-In Challenge The next time you go to a football match,  try and Hold it in.  Dont go to the toilet from the time you leave home, to the time you come back.  Away games too!  If you cant do that and need the toilet,  You have to sign this petition, because if you needed to go, so did the person wearing a pad, and they then had to sit in that, all the way home!  If you have to go, so do they.  They just need a bit of help to do it. A changing Place would end that.  Thanks for your support.  Please Share.
