My name is Christopher Crump and in 2004 I was ask by the Attorney General office to take a dna test for a child whose name is  Getrick Faulk and I did. Didn't hear nothing back from them until 3 years later when they contacted my employer. I immediately contacted them and they told me they established paternity. I told them I never received the results and the lady proceeded to tell me that paternity was established and if I wanted my results then I would have to seek legal counsel. Me thinking that I did a dna test this child must be mine. Fast forward to 2016 I have the child for the summer and he wants to stay with me his mom wouldn't let him so the child then tells me that I'm not his father. I tell him I am your father and then he says your not my father I met my father ,but how im not when I took a dna he says it a lot of stuff  but I'm tired of my mom using you. So I talk him home Saturday that Monday I go to the Ag Office  nobody wants to tell me anything went down there for a week straight with no results. Finally that Friday I went in there and the lady told me to come back at lunch time and I did. When I come back the lady tell me that it shows that the test was ordered I took it but the result were not in the file. So I asked her well yall told me yall established paternity and thats when she tells me they established dna through a default order and then explained it to me. So we go to court I explained to the judge wat happen and she ask the mother is this true and the mother say yes. The judge makes us take the test again 6 week later im found not to be the father. Everybody walked away and left the mess on me. Here it is 2022 they have me 50,000 dollars behind in child support, they threatening to suspend my license for none payment saying the mother is owed this money even though she lied. And on top of that the only thing the Ag Office has to say is its a unfortunate situation and they sorry that this happened to me but these arethe laws that were put in place. I'm being held accountable while the mother Laquisha Hill gets to go on with her life and on top of that I still have to pay her for a lie. Its just not right. We need change. It has taken a toll on my family not being able to buy a home,not being able to send my daughter to college and if my license get suspended not being able to provide for my family anymore. These laws have to change for the people thats abusing it if not it will be more men like me force to take care of a child whose biological dad is getting away from his responsibility. Thank you
