For the first time, Weaver Academy will be allowing underclassmen at the traditionally junior and senior event due to the issue of of no Winter Formal being able to be held this year, which would have been open to all grades to attend. However, instead of doing a Spring Formal, Weaver has opened prom to all grades. This petition is to reserve prom for the juniors and seniors, and hopefully provide an alternative event for all grades that is not prom! Reasons to support:

- Minimize COVID risk with less people in attendance of prom

- Give juniors and seniors what they have had to wait years for- the underclassmen should have to wait like everyone else had to (though we love you all!!!) 

- The standard of prom would have to completely change forever with this policy, as it makes no sense for this year’s freshmen to be able to go to prom, but then be denied the chance to go their sophomore year, as the prom would then revert back to original policy- only juniors and seniors, which would cause an uproar amongst under classmen
