The city of Tulsa had a contest to name the new Arena Football team name, in which I submitted " Tulsa Tribe " as my choice with the color scheme of the Tulsa Flag. Surprised that my choice didn't even make the list of options to vote on. The state of oklahoma is known for different native tribes, and with the blend of the Tulsa flag and the rich Native cultures we have in Oklahoma. With the whole ( Cancel Culture ) going around I felt Tribe wouldnt offend anyone, I think it's important to honor and acknowledge culture, not cancel it. Tribe is translated to family, which is what a team is. We work together, and we help eachother when we are down, we unite as one, we are a Tribe! 

 Tulsa already has a Hockey team named "Tulsa Oilers" why would we want the same name to be our arena football team also? Kinda silly. Lets be the change and lets change the arena football name "Tulsa Oilers" to the "Tulsa Tribe"
