There is a tradition in the CP program of inviting new CP students to meet up at the Mustard Seed Cafe. This place has its upsides as it provides a wide variety of diets and it has a nice atmosphere. However, the quality of the food has been inconsistent, and the price ($$-$$$) does not match with the quality or the quantity of the food. It is especially hard for new students to decline the invitation or to know what quality and price of the food to expect.

Therefore, I am kindly requesting the program to change the tradition of inviting new students to Mustard Seed Cafe by holding the event at other places that provide quality-consistent and/or budget-friendly food and drinks (e.g., Taqueria La Loma, Azteca, Cilantro, Lockview, Bomba Taco, R. Shea, NOMZ, Twisted Tomato, Crave, Barley House).
