THIS PETITION IS FOR THE ATTENTION OF :The principal

BACKGROUND: Students are forced to tuck in their shirts, and most of them do not want to. Change this and let the students tuck in their shirts only if they want to. (needs more editing)

REASONS:

It is uncomfortable
People's legs get sweaty when they are running around, and the tucked in shirt does not allow for circulation
People will stop wearing sport uniform when they are not supposed to because in the sport uniform you don't have to tuck in your shirt and with the general uniform you do have to tuck in your shirt
It would provide less work for the students in the morning before school when they are getting dressed
When the students are told off about tucking in their shirts, that can sometimes add stress onto them, and if you combine that with the stress of high school in general, that would be a lot of work

BENEFITS OF CHANGE: One of the main reasons that students wear sport uniform when they are not supposed to is because you do not have to tuck in your shirt when you are wearing your sport uniform. If you changed the uniform so that students do not have to tuck in their shirts with their general uniform, then it would encourage students to not wear their sport uniform when they do not have to.

FEASIBILITY: It is easy to make this change to the uniform, you do not even have to change the uniform. You just have to send out an email to all the parents about the change of policy. The only thing it will cost is time, and not much of it. The only person who has to make the change is whoever sends out the emails to the parents. In my mind and other students minds, it is a logical and reasonable petition, and will provide nearly no work to execute.
