Hi my name is lauren I am 33 year old mum to two autistic special boys with complex needs 

for the past 6 years i have had nothing but stress over getting my children educational health care plans and getting them both into the right provision for there needs.

I never known a system so stressful its hard enough for sen parents to trust other people with there children so we want to know our children are getting there needs met in the right schools 

I have alot  of friends with special needs children and everyone goes from the same stressful process. Most boroughs dont have enough special needs schools and this needs to change 

teachers in mainstream schools have had cuts and are not being trained to teach our children so majority of the time the child will fail at mainstream and need a sen provision anyway 

i care about this petition because i want to see the system changed for all us sen parents we shouldnt have to go through the stress and neither should our children being tested at mainstream like guinnea pigs till they fail 

i am only one parent who has had to go through this twice and have so much stress over getting my children a provision for there needs and i know theres millions of families going through the same 

the system needs to be made not so stressfull and the panel system needs to be changed
