It is RIDICULOUS for female and afab persons to be escorted to the bathroom, for YEARS period or menstrual cycles have been seen as a taboo or private conversation. People have learned to be ashamed of their own bodies habits. I myself have been subjected to this. I don't wanna talk about my period. Today at school my stomach hurt (I have regular stomach pain, so I didn't think much of it) but once I got home I realized my menstrual cycle had started. I had most of the day BLEEDING IN MY PANTS. Luckily for me I was wearing black but some people are not as lucky. That is unsanitary and down right inhumane to deny people with a menstrual cycle the right to use the bathroom when nessesary. Help me help young people who are struggling with their menstrual cycles and just want to use the bathroom in peace and sign this to help change and create a safe health focused compromise for young persons who struggle with periods and NEED regular use of the restroom. We need hhs to see there is a problem and know we young folk care about the health and hygiene. We do not choose our period we cannot control them, so please STOP limiting our access to the restroom (and thereby) not allowing us to take care of our bodies! ! !
