The president of a seditious pseudo country that fought to perpetuate slavery should not be honored with a county name after him when the majority of the county population are descendants of slaves.

How can the county attract business or any kind of economic development with a name as toxic as Jefferson Davis. It is time for the good people of Jefferson Davis county,(Mississippi) to address this atrocity and move into the 21st century.

This should be a noncontroversial move and I beg the good people of Jefferson Davis county to step forward and let's correct this problem.
