The Eastern Massasauga Rattlesnake is a federally protected endangered species.  Michigan is the stronghold of this amazing species.  Eastern Massasaugas are beautiful and shy and often unseen just like so much other nature in our state.  Rattlesnakes are noble and dignified in their behavior and appearance and never go looking for a fight. Let’s help them be understood and appreciated.
