Change the Length of the Day to 25 Hours

A day is a unit of time. In common usage, it is either an interval equal to 24 hours or daytime, the consecutive period of time during which the Sun is above the horizon.

This originally was thought to be the total length of one complete rotation of the Earth. Unfortunately, advancements in our measurement tools have shown that the true length of a day is not 24 hours. The true length of a day is actually 23 hours, 56 minutes, and 4.1 seconds.

This is a complete outrage. We have less time every day to use as we need. This utilizes time affects our daily lives and more people should be concerned with this loss of time.

I personally believe that we should adjust the length of the day again. However, instead of losing time, I think that we should gain time. 25 hours would be an excellent improvement. 25 hours is a very nice number in base 10. 4 days would then equal exactly 100 hours, making math significantly easier.

Increasing the amount of time in the day would improve the health and livelihood of everyone living on the planet.
