My name is Gwendolyn McKinney and I am looking to change the sentencing guidelines in the state of Michigan for drunk driving. My son Monty Terry Heath Jr age 25 was killed by a drunk driver on April 25th 2021 not one time did this person Express regret to me, his siblings or community, his attorney made statements of how distraught he was but when he given the opportunity to face Us in the courtroom he didn't utter a mumbling word he was slouched in his chair and he showed total disregard for the loss of life that he was responsible for. 4 years is not enough it will never be enough, the guidelines for sentencing has got to change in the state of Michigan.
