Hello! I am a student of the class of 2023. Our graduation location was just announced at Mercer Stadium in Sugar Land, Texas. This is a huge downgrade from where the Class of 2022 graduated from (Toyota Center). After multiple years, the Toyota Center graduation venue came back in 2022, which was something good that came back after COVID. Going from the Toyota Center to Mercer Stadium is a downgrade. As the class of 2023, we believe our district is being very cheap by not letting us graduate from the Toyota Center. We will even take Smart Financial as an option! Some of us have been to school in Fort Bend since 2010 (13 years) and want their time in Fort Bend to end off good. With this petition, we strive to change our school boards decision.
