We are three students in our final year of high school with a great concern regarding vaping amongst young people in our community. In the past few years we have noticed the number of young people vaping increase rapidly and when discussing what could be done in an attempt to reduce the number, we realised that the accessibility of vapes and vaping products is likely a huge cause. In the New Plymouth area there are seven specialised vape shops, one of which is within 100metres of the biggest intermediate school in our city. This is a huge issue and we would love your support in the form of a signature on this petition to get the councils attention and bring awareness to the epidemic facing our young people.
