CMU uses the name Chippewa which is the name of a Native American group. Many Natives and others have spoken out against this practice. We could be the dragons to still use the phrase “fire up” without offending any group. CMU can respect and honor the Ojibwa and other Indigenous peoplethat were the original people on this land in other ways.
