All Australians deserve a National Anthem that represents their collective story.
The passing of a National Treasure - Judith Durham, has brought back memories of the patriotic passion ignited by the Seekers iconic rendition of ‘We Are Australian’.

The song takes all Australians on a journey from the dream-time, across dusty red soil plains and prison ships to Clancy and diggers, our Rock and the many lands from which we come. It pays tribute to the spirit of the battler acknowledges our challenges, our natural beauty and points us toward a future of inclusion, aspiration and pride.

It tells the story of us all and the story of those who would  become Australian - it’s a fitting tribute and a road map of who we all want to be - it should be our National Anthem.
