Currently the speed limit is 50 KPH around McGuire Lake, which is too fast.

There is much wildlife that uses this road to cross, such as turtles, ducks with ducklings, geese with goslings, cats and dogs. I have seen many dead turtles, and ducks over the years, that have been hit by cars.

It is also a very popular sidewalk to stroll and enjoy the beautiful McGuire Lake. Many people get down off the sidewalk on to the busy road, to let couples and wheelchairs get by. There is a blind corner that people speed around, which is very concerning. 

Please help save wildlife and possibly a persons life by showing your support to change the speed limit from 50 KPH to 30 KPH around the north side of McGuire Lake.
