After my daughter getting bullied before the summer holidays and afraid to attend school , the school assured me a contract was written out and put in place and signed but a few pupils .

After having time of school including the holidays I encouraged my daughter to go back to school for her education she already had anxiety about going back but eventually went in to what was her first day .

On her first day back there was a planned target for her and she got assaulted and bystanders recorded the incident .

I had a phone call notifying me of this with my daughter very distressed I was told the pupil was removed from lessons for the rest of that day and the following day .

To me that is a very subtle approach on dealing with something that i feel was a very serious incident .

Since this incident I have found out that infact there was no contract put in place as I was told before sending her back to school and its only now that the school want to further escalate things. Due to me reporting the incident to the police .

So I am now  starting a petition to fight for change in the way the schools policies are on bullying .

I feel there is not enough in place to tackle bullying .

I feel there needs to be tougher rules put in place to combat bullying .

Our children are not protected or safeguarded enough against different forms of bullying and it's time we took action .

I know this is and won't be the only case of bullying within schools and more change needs to be done on tackling down on bullying .
