I am a student attending Rowan College of Burlington County's 3+1 Inclusive Education program. Students like me are attending community college for three years, and our senior year will be at Rowan University. As part of our teacher certification program, we have to take Praxis Core, Praxis II, and Special Education Praxis. Students in their junior year in this program were told that we have to complete and pass Praxis II by August 1, 2023 however we were just informed they changed the deadline to April 30th, 2023.

This decreases our time substantially to prep and pass all sections of Praxis II by almost 3 months. In April we are going to be in our Spring Semester which we are already taking 6 classes plus two days a week in a school observing. Many of us also work part time as well outside of school. We have not yet been notified why this change occurred, however this will make us more stressed as we are losing the summer to complete the exam. 

We ask Rowan University's College of Education to reevaluate their decision  on the deadline.
