This is in reference to the recruitment which are taken by whereas PSB BANK which are recruiting for various post through PGDBM and PGDBF courses. As early there where many petition filled against min 60% criteria in Gradution and the
Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Financial Services have approved earlier only that there should not be min 60%criteria . Therefore these bank like DENA BANK BANK OF BARODA are not following government instructions in eligibility criteria. They have requirement of min 60% which is againt government rules Therefore is it suggested that going forward, the minimum educational qualification for the recruitment process of Probationary Officers in PSBs will be Graduation, with 60% marks.
This is to bring to your notice that it will be totally unfair to Lacs of Candidates, who are aspiring for these jobs. There are several reasons why it will be totally unfair to Lacs of Candidates, who are aspiring for these jobs -
1. This is important, as in India, the marking system of various universities differ from each other. Some universities are lenient in giving marks, while some give marks conservatively in graduation courses.
2. Also, there is also a difference in marking system for various stream. Generally, Science or Engineering Stream candidates get good marks, while, Art students do not get marks similar to their science/engineering counterparts. So, keeping marks at 60% for filling vacancies, will create a dis-balance in the level playing field for candidates.
3. Largest Bank of India - State Bank of India - is hiring for same post but do not have such criteria as above. A candidate need only a graduation degree to participate in the recruitment process of Probationary Officer. So, it is sounds really surprising that a candidate can be a PO in SBI but he/she can not be a PO in Bank of Baroda /PNB etc.
4. There are many other competitive exams of national repute like SSC and UPSC, these are also being used by the government for the recruitment of IAS Officers and Class A and Class B Officers, but even these exams do not have a minimum 60% criteria like in case of IBPS PO. So, it is ironical that a person with less than 60% marks, can become an IAS Officer but he can not be a Bank Officer.sorry but even our country's education minister does not have criteria of min 60% in graduates so why the banking aspirants.
So I on the behalf of thousands banking aspirants request yout to Please recruit on this basis of examination and talent and avoid percentage striction criteria.
Thanks
