This petition is to the respective management entities of Change.org and Twitter.com

Maria Ruiz is a self-described "lover of communism"  and user of the services named above.

She has started a petition in which she has equated jokes, taken out of context, from the YouTuber PewDiePie who has over 90 million subscribers, with white supremacy.

Unfortunately what Ms. Ruiz has failed to taken into account is both the laws where her victim resides. Her statements could be regarded as "libel" which is a legal term describing someone's written words as being defamatory and damaging to a person's reputation.

Not only are her statement's libelous, they are presented with enough believeability that many people are likely to misunderstand her intentions (clearly several thousand people have already). The titles she uses on petitions, which fail to mention the real purpose of the petition, are designed to evoke emotional response rather than consideration of the facts, and the "facts" presented are taken out of context. She also leaves out information that would otherwise absolve her victim of the crimes she accuses him of.

Please sign this petition if you believe that Change.org and Twitter should stand up to out of control individuals using their platforms to harass and intimidate individuals they don't like.

Remove the user Maria Ruiz from your services, permanently.
