Umtamvuna Hiking Trails do not upkeep, maintain and mark their trails clearly. This has led to SEVERAL incidents since 2014 (including a personal one of my own where my precious mother had to survive a night in the wild, cold nature with no food, water or shelter) that include missing persons, injured persons and people getting lost in a 3000+ hectare nature reserve resulting in lengthy and stressful search and rescue missions. This petition is to better the application of funds, to improve the safety of hikers and visitors and to address the absolute POOR/LACK of service from the Ezemvelo Nature Reserve. It is in hopes of getting them to step up and own up to their mistakes and problems.
