Manuel Nunez gave so much to the South East Side during his time with the Chicago Park District. He created a safe haven for the youth and created a soccer powerhouse. The ripple effects of his work continues to positively impact the youth of Chicago, through players he mentored who are now coaches themselves. Let’s honor this great man at Calumet Park by dedicating a field, a gym, street sign anything that lets him know we appreciate everything he’s done!
