Change.org to tell people what a petition is about rather than who has signed it.
0 have signed. Let’s get to 100!
Recently whenever anyone I know on Facebook shares a petition through Change.org the "headline" asks me to help the last person who has signed and shared it to get more signatures, rather than summarising for me what the petition is about. On top of that, if I choose to read the petition to decide whether or not I want to sign it, a pop up box will appear urging me to the sign the petition, and again asking me to base my decision on the person who has signed and shared it, rather than on whether or not I agree with the text. I find this unhelpful, and also insulting to my decision-making skills. Please get rid of the pop up box, and go back to introducing petitions on Facebook with a headline summarising what they are about.
