I want the lockdown restrictions changed so that Hairdressers and Beauticians who are willing & following the proper safety regulations to go to clients homes and what the client requires, like get a haircut and be ready when going back to work.

We as people have rights, dignity and dress codes for work and we have the right to look how we are expected and to feel good out ourselves.

Not only that there are alot of people who can not cut their own hair or who have injuries from accidents who need massages and therapy but prefer and trust only certain professionals.

Why can only certain people be allowed to go to work and not others? Our appearance in our workplace is also rules and regulations and we also have the right to feel and look beautiful and professional and dignified.

Allow them to help the people who ask for their help by letting them get a form that allows them to go to the clients home and provide a necessary service.

I am not saying that they open their salons and a lot of people gather there and not care about the health of others.. No I am simply asking that they be allowed to go to someones house and leave when finished providing a service to about 4 to 6 people a week if needed. I mean don't docters, nurses, lawyers, policemen/woman ect need to look their best when going to work? Don't we all have that right to go out in public or to work with dignity, feeling and looking good and professional?

Please help me to get the necessary signatures to help our fellow South Africans. We all have dignity and rights don't let that be taken away.

Human dignity: Everyone has inherent dignity and the right to have their dignity respected and protected.

Sloppiness is a sign of disrespect for yourself and your job, at least in the eyes of management. It’s important to not overlook the importance of clean teeth, clean nails and a proper haircut.

The quality of your work might be the most important thing but your appearance also leaves an immediate impression on your colleagues, including management. While eccentricity might be allowed and even embraced in some settings, most workplaces are conservative and want you to be too. And if your company has a dress code policy which you don’t adhere to, your job could hang by your threads.
