The Midland Ontario waterfront is a very historical beautiful piece of land right off of Georgian Bay. The town of Midland has publically announced a concept for A multi million dollar dock/entertainment/ along with a possible apartment complex to be built on this lot. The local homeless population have been residing here for years. Seems contrary to the real situation that is going on. I as well as many others believe the inflation of living is so unbearable, that this space should be changed into affordable housing. So finally people of our community can afford to have a view of the Bay like the million dollar cottagers do on other spots of the water.

This petition is to show how many people dislike the new plan for the Midland waterfront.Look at all the houses none of our people can afford, Aberdeen, behind Walmart.The list goes on.

WE DEMAND A CHANGE, WE DEMAND AFFORDABLE HOUSING.WE DEMAND PUBLIC ACCESS.

If this plan goes through we will lose desperately needed housing for OUR people and we risk losing one of the last pieces of public access to georgian bay that we have left.WAKE UP MIDLAND.
