Marshall County Schools (West Virginia) current Pre school schedule is a burden to many parents. A normal length school day or after child care needs to be put in place for ALL schools, not just some if the 8-1 schedule remains. 

Local schools are thriving on this full schedule and parents in MCS are faced with having to transfer to other counties, private schools, or homeschooling - or no schooling at all. 

Pre k students can get all required structural minutes if they are there full days, 4x a week instead of 5.
