The follow up care following a Hysterectomy in the U.K. is quite frankly shocking. Women are being brutally forced into a Surgical Menopause with no help or care received. Young women are having to give up work due to the debilitating symptoms having no ovaries leaves them with.

GP’s are clueless on the levels needed to be obtained by these women, they are clueless that most of these women will need Testosterone, they are clueless on what blood tests need to be performed and how regular these need to be performed. NHS England need to change the guidelines following a Total Hysterectomy and provide a follow up care plan that both specialists and GP’s across the country have to maintain
