TL;DR: The Joint CSIR NET JUNE 2022 alloted far away cities for the candidates and most of them are unable to appear in the exam. This is horrifying and should be corrected.

The Joint CSIR NET JUNE 2022 is scheduled to be held on 17th September 2022 (Saturday). It is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Students from all over India has been preparing with all their energy so that they can get through the exam. But, on 11th September 2022, all their hopes were crushed, when the "city intimation slip" was released.

It so happened that while filling up the form, applicants are supposed to give FOUR cities of their choices. However, the students were horrified to find that their exam center was none among these four choices. Some students argued that they have no clue/knowledge about the city where they have been alloted.

It is horrifying to think that after preparing for months for the exam, students are unable TO EVEN APPEAR in the exam. Students are stressed out emotionally and FINANCIALLY in the situation. A large section of the students who are not financially sound are dropping out of the exam.

Students have tried to contact CSIR and NTA time and again but have failed to receive any response. Many students have contacted the officials personally IN THEIR OFFICE and yet they have not received any help.

LET US RAISE OUR VOICE AGAINST THIS INJUSTICE AND FIGHT FOR OUR STUDENTS. 

1) NTA AND CSIR SHOULD CHANGE THE CENTERS OF THE APPLICANTS TO ONE OF THE CITIES OF THEIR CHOICE.

2) IN CASE THE CENTER CHANGE IS NOT DONE, THE EXAM SHOULD BE POSTPONED.
