Carrus Aotea has Covenants that aren’t fair for the people who live under them. They aren’t administered  in a fair way and cause disharmony in our community. 

Carrus also needs to think about climate change and focus on making our community sustainable. For example providing a community compost area for organic waste and potentially a community garden for those struggling in Porirua to get fresh fruit and vegetables. 

The primary goal of this petition is for Carrus Aotea to co-design their Covenant rules with the people who live under these rules. This includes how enforcement is implemented so it is done in a respectful manner that takes in a person’s situation. 

Secondary goal is for Aotea to be not just a pretty suburb, but one that leads the way in community sustainability and caring.
